“It’s the possibility of making Dreams come true that makes life interesting.”
-          Paolo Coelho
This quote summarizes my feeling when I was able to come to the Land of the Morning Calm: South Korea. This could not be possible without the people who helped me in all aspects as  a human being: physical, psychological, spiritual, financial and etc. A million Thanks to the “sun”family and to “the young life in seoul”. The experience that I had was priceless that I’d be forever in gratitude; those experiences became one of the remarkable events in my life that I would surely not forget and treasure through ages. Those experiences had widen my horizons of any possibilities that I might have. It became my motivation towards having a more blissful life and it gave me the idea of looking beyond what I see. It was a dream which come true, like a turtle that goes out from its shelter and sees the  beauty  of the world; it may be vulnerable but it won’t definitely regret its choice, just like me. J

“A journey towards a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
-          Lao Tzu
The influx of the different races in various parts of the world specifically in Asia makes it possible to give different people a chance to exchange culture, its practices and tradition. Furthermore due to this, it also created problems which are always a result to any changes that the world may undergo. Countries become strict to give people a chance to explore their land. Filipinos who offer their services resort to violating rules just to be able to step to different lands. One of the countries which is so strict to their rules is South Korea. I, who is just an ordinary person, am having a hard time to be able to have a tourist visa. Fortunately, because of the people who helped me and with Divine providence, I had the chance to  travel  the land and to experience and explore its splendid beauty.

When I stepped on the airport, it was hard for me to believe that I am truly in the Land of the Morning Calm: South Korea and I left Cebu which is my comfort zone. At that time I felt like I would open probable opportunities of growing as an individual collecting an array of beautiful experiences. That phenomenon for me is so called the “First Time” stage, for it was my first time to travel on an airplane and experience a temperature lower than 20 degrees compared to the Philippines which has a tropical climate. The first time is the adjustment period. I need to adjust and perhaps adopt the changes that the country has to offer. The one and a half month of staying in Korea was more than enough to be experienced by an ordinary individual and that it was like just like a dream but then a dream always has an ending however this experience will certainly be my step towards a bitter and sweet journey in exploring my life and the world.
